Being Sexy just got… Denim?
This spring in 2018 all the trends are raving for us Plus Size Curvilicious Women! All you hear about currently is florals, florals and yea more florals! Yet, with all the flowers out there busting some face don’t forget about the denim. But, not just any denim my fair ladies… denim on denim. Yes babes, we’re layering the colby jack cheese out of the jeans this spring! Some popular trends are the denim jacket mixed with denim skirts or the denim jumpsuits with a white denim jacket. We’re not doing that today. We are doing what every woman I know has a pair of today. JEANS! Yes doll, jeans!
It Ain’t Nothing but a Denim Thang…
Mixing jean colors have endless possibilities. As you know it is almost spring and it is definitely time to release those wicked bright and pale colors into the world and shout “WAKE UP FLOWERS!” Today’s blog post example is a pair of size 20W Straight Dark Wash Denim Jeans from Torrid, a Green and Cream Cami from Walmart in a 2XL and a Medium Wash Jean Short Sleeve Denim Jacket in a 2XL-3XL from Rue21+. The boots are a 8W from Zulilly I believe? Sorry, I bought them like four years ago! I paired the cami as it is a olive green to mix the dark/medium tones of the wash to give it a neutral effect. But, any well fitted top would go perfect with this look! Try playing around with some vibrant colors for spring like magenta, bright yellow or red undertone oranges.
So What About The Accessories?
Well, that’s the thing y’all! Just about any long drop necklace or necklace that sits on your collar bones with a well fitted shirt goes great with jean trend outfits. For example, I am wearing a long drop necklace with a silver chain. It matches the silver buttons on my jeans and jacket. The marble beads on the necklace has a hint of green to meet my cami. It looks casual and comfy while being trendy as well as super cute!
